Developing Novel Blue Biorefineries from Aquatic Resources

Check out the conference recording...

On Wednesday, our project partners Rachel Durand from SINTEF Ocean and Emre Yemisken from Tetis Biotechnology represented FOODIMAR at the webinar “Developing Novel Blue Biorefineries from Aquatic Resources”, co-hosted by CIRCALGAE, IMPRESS Project, and FOODIMAR.

Rachel’s presentation: “From Bones to Bucks: Unlocking the Value of Marine Side Streams”
Emre’s presentation: “From Fish Waste to Functional Value: Scaling Marine Biorefineries with Green Technology”

The session brought together experts and innovators to showcase how aquatic resources and seafood side-streams can be transformed into high-value, sustainable products — driving forward the circular blue economy.

A big thank you to our co-hosts and all participants for such an inspiring exchange of ideas!
