On 3 December, FOODIMAR was proud to be represented by Rachel Durand from SINTEF Ocean at Fagdag Fiskeri 2025, hosted by NCE Blue Legasea, GCE Blue Maritime Cluster, and AKP at Nordic Wildfish on Valderøya.
This year’s theme — “Kampen om råstoffet – fra fartøy og teknologi til råstoff og marked” (“The battle for raw materials – from vessels and technology to raw material and markets”) — set the stage for important discussions on how Norway’s seafood sector can continue advancing innovation, resource efficiency, and circular value chains.
Rachel contributed to the dialogue on how marine side-stream valorisation can strengthen the sustainability and resilience of the seafood industry—key pillars of FOODIMAR’s mission.
A big thank you to the organisers for bringing together such a strong community of industry leaders, researchers, and innovators. It was an inspiring day filled with knowledge exchange, new perspectives, and shared commitment to a more sustainable blue future.
