We were proud to see Dmitri Fabrikov from Chalmers University of Technology present at Aquaculture Europe in Valencia on 25 September.
His talk, “Ultrasound-assisted extraction of collagen from fish skin: a time-efficient strategy for marine by-product valorization”, was part of the Post-Harvest – Processing, Packing and Value Addition session.
This research demonstrates how innovative, sustainable processes can unlock new value from seafood side-streams while contributing to a more circular blue economy.
